November 2010: New Star SR20J
Additional capacity requirements have led to another brand new machine being installed. The new Star Micronics SR20J has faster rapids at 32M/min than the other SR20RII machines (20M/min) and additional deep hole drilling stations, but are otherwise competely compatible. This means that existing programs drop straight onto the machine thereby maintaining standardisation and flexibility during the machine loading. This is the 14th Star sliding head machine at Wilco and continues a course of investment.
