Established in 1940, Wilco who operate
a QS9000 management system audited by the BSI, has evolved
to offer you the complete turned parts package together with
machining, grinding and assembly, in a wide variety of materials,
from their 30,000 sq ft factory in the heart of the industrial
Midlands.
Wilco have purposefully
avoided specialisation by maintaining a wide variety of machinery
and processes. This allows you to take advantage of a large
physical machining capacity (up to 52mm diameter); low to
high volume production coupled with simple and complex machining
on the correct machine for the job.
Wilco offers on time
delivery within the UK to schedule, Kan-Ban or discrete orders
by operating an active stock holding policy. This ensures
that you can expect short lead times for regular work whilst
maintaining a low cost operating structure.
Turning Operations
The photograph below demonstrates the
huge range of parts and designs that can be produced in annual
quantities of 5000 to over 1, 000, 000 per annum.

operation utilising the large selection of machine attachments
available to save you money and reduce your lead time.
With capacity from 3mm to 52mm diameter, Wilco offer
you a wide range of machinery to fulfill your needs
including the latest CNCs plus well maintained and fully
refurbished single spindle and multi spindle automatics.

Machining Operations

With a wide variety of secondary machining options
available, your secondary machining needs are carefully
assessed with regard to volume, complexity and time.
With in-house jig and tool making facilities, optimum
operation times can be achieved to reduce your costs.
Simple single operations can be quickly achieved using
conventional drilling, milling, tapping and turning
machinery.
Rotary transfer machines (pictured left) ensure that
several operations can be performed simultaneously and
more complex components can be completed by CNC machining
centres or production cells.

Assembly & Turnkey Operations

Wilco strives to offer their customers a one-stop-shop
in terms of machining and assembly. We will source on
your behalf any mouldings, pressings or processes required
to complete your sub-assembly or make your product for
you!
By combining competitive in-house machining, jig making
